Switch Hosts, Free

Unhappy with your current host? We'll move you over — free.

Slow support, mystery downtime, or a renewal price that jumped overnight — if that's why you're looking elsewhere, we'll migrate your website and email to our servers at no charge, with minimal downtime, and you don't pay us anything until you're live and happy.

What's included

What "free migration" actually covers

Full site transfer

Files, database, and configuration moved across — WordPress, custom PHP, static sites, and most common platforms.

Email migration

Mailboxes and existing mail moved so nothing gets lost mid-switch, where your current host supports export.

DNS handled for you

We plan the DNS cutover to keep downtime to minutes, and talk you through when to update it if your domain is elsewhere.

You approve before we cut over

We build and test the new copy of your site first — nothing goes live until you've seen it working and given the go-ahead.

Process

How the switch works

01

Tell us where you are

Share your current host and access details (or have them ready) — we'll confirm the migration is straightforward before anything starts.

02

We build a working copy

Your site is copied and set up on our servers while your current site keeps running untouched.

03

You review it

We send you a preview link so you can check everything looks and works right before it's public.

04

We cut over

DNS is switched at a low-traffic time, typically resulting in a few minutes of downtime at most.

FAQ

Is the migration really free?

Yes — there's no migration fee. You only pay for the hosting plan itself once you're live and satisfied, and cancel with your old host on your own timeline.

What if my current host doesn't allow easy exports?

Tell us what you have access to (control panel, FTP, database credentials) and we'll assess whether a full migration is possible before you commit to anything.

How much downtime should I expect?

Typically just the time it takes DNS to update once we cut over — usually minutes, occasionally longer depending on your domain's DNS settings.

Do you also manage the server afterwards?

Yes — see Server Management & Support for what ongoing monitoring, security and backups look like.

Tell us where you're hosted now — we'll take it from there.
